Pembina Valley Studio Tour

One of the main principals of the Studio Tour, in keeping with other studio tours, is that there is no fee charged to visitors. Those artists who wish to earn revenues from the event are encouraged to provide a variety as possible of salable art.

The studio tour is funded by donations from businesses in the region, artist registration fees, and grants. A committee is responsible each year for writing a contract; creating and distributing the brochure/map; advertising the event; liaising with artists; and providing the distinctive yellow “A” signs that  guide the tourists on their travels.

Each  participant reads and signs a contract, pays a registration fee, provides information for the brochure, and abides by the guidelines set out in the contract. Newcomers are asked to apply by sending in photos of their work and a vision statement or description or biography.

Brochures  listing the artists, their locations, and maps will be available at the  Pembina Hills Arts Council (Gallery) in Morden, the Gallery in the Park in Altona, the Chambers of Commerce, Winkler and Morden as well as Thornview Grocery, Morden from about mid-July, up to the weekend of the tour.

STUDIO TOUR COMMITTEE MISSION STATEMENT
